It is recommended that you purchase a coil straightener that has a material width of two inches or more to enable it to serve effectively on heavy-duty industrial machines. However, it is not mandatory that you buy the widest coil possible. You may find a narrower material that serves your purpose just as well as a wider material that would leave some space for customization.
